Yukari Onishi is a female singer who harks back to the glory days of Japanese pop in the 1950s. Singing kayo-kyoku, on this album she has teamed up with Ryudo Ozaki, a veteran musician and songwriter with a legacy of many big hits, and Ozaki's wife, lyricist Yoko Aki. Onishi is accompanied by Arrow Jazz Orchestra, formed in 1959 who used to be the backing band for Hibari Misora.
