Traditional and not so traditional taiko drumming. Although the style of a team of drummers playing different taiko drums is characterised as an ancient Japanese tradition, in fact it can be traced back to the 1950s. This CD features that original taiko drummer Daihichi Oguchi, the first popular taiko drumming group Ondekoza formed in 1969, plus Nousokai and Noboru Kurosaka.
