Excellent 2 CD compilation of 'GS' or Group Sounds hits from the 60s. Influenced by visiting groups such as the Ventures (65) and the Beatles (66), the music ranged from Japanese style pop (kayokyoku) to more bluesy rmusic that heard on US military bases. The GS era was relatively short but out of it came several important musical figures.
