Keiko Higa is a member of Deigo Musume, one of the original 'sisters' groups in Okinawa, who go back all the way to the early 1960s. As well as a singer and sanshin player, she is also known for her taiko playing, and it's this that takes centre stage on this album. Mostly traditional with some originals, including the title track written by Shuken Maekawa who also plays on the album. Other songs are written by Sadao China and another co-written by Higa with Bisekatsu. Penultimate track is a medley of seven kachashii classics performed with great energy. Includes 48 page booklet.
