Thirty years ago, Japanese singer Takio Ito rocked the minyo (folk) world with two albums released on Sony Music in 1986 and 1988. One of the brightest stars of minyo, he included rock, jazz and other styles into minyo, at a time when Japan was wondering its own music was in the 'world music' scene that was happening in the west and had spread to Japan. The 1988 CD was a re-released, re-packaged version of the 1986 album with a few extra and a few less tracks. This album includes all the tracks from these first two releaases for the first time.
