Based in France, four Japanese musicians, plus French musician Julien Omeyer and other French guests play traditional folk songs (minyo) with a psychedelic surf rock spirit. Great vocals from Emiko Ota plus shamisen, guitars, drums and other instruments combine to form a unique sound, identifiably Japanese, but unlike else.
