For more than two decades Noy Vanneth has been a top singer of many styles from pop to ramvong, and cha cha. On this album he mainly sings a dance ramvong style. Touch Sreynich was born in 1980 and grew up in a musical family singing Khmer traditional music. She can also sing other styles from pop to ramvong. She has a wonderful voice particularly suited to the Khmer ramvong ballads. She was shot in Phnom Penh in 2003 a tragedy she is still recovering from. This CD is a mixture of pop and some very rootsy local music, brilliantly performed by two leading singers.
