In March 2005 musician Rinsuke Teruya died from a diabates associated illness. Apart from being the father of Rinken Teruya and a performer in his own right, he was also a songwriter with a association to Maruteru Records. This album features fifteen tracks written by Rinsuke Teruya and performed by different artists for the Maruteru label recorded around 1960. These include Gendai Bushi (Rinsuke Teruya), Ayakari Bushi (Four Sisters), Danku Bushi (Rinsho Kadekaru), Kateemun (Yasuo Takayasu), Harikuyamaku (Tokuichi Yamakawa), Nanchichi Bushi (Shoei Kina), Kugari Bushi (Aiko Yohen), Debune No Uta (Yaeko Inamine), Uchikumi Yunta (Dego Musume) and Beeru Beeru (Seishin Taba).
