Shinobue (transverse bamboo flute) player and ex Kodo member, Jiro Murayama, plays matsuri bayashi (folk music of festivals) from ten different places in Japan. Murayama plays not only fue (flutes) but all other instruments including taiko drums and kane (bell). Impressive album.
