Originally released in 1978, eight Japanese jazz fusion guitarists went to New York to perform tracks inspired by the city. Clear orange vinyl, Bernie Grundman mastering. These artists were at the cutting edge of the Japan fusion scene at the time; Kazumasa Akiyama, Kenji Ohmura, Shigeru Suzuki, Kazuo Takeda, Tsunehide Matsuki, Masaki Matsubara, Kimio Mizutani and Masaru Yajima. Recorded with horns, strings, with tracks ranging from a Boz Scaggs cover, jazz standards to original tunes.
