Shakuhachi Solisten was a shakuhachi ensemble formed in 1979 by Kifu Mitsuhashi. On this album, mainly western music arranged by master of such arrangements, Kiyoshi Yamaya, plus a Japanese traditional classic. Features the Columbia Orchestra and other greats of Japanese traditional music such as Toshiko Yonekawa on koto.
