Product Description
Koza (Okinawa City) has always been a hot bed of music. Not just traditional music but in the post Vietnam war years, a folk music scene developed. Fascinating album of this underground folk scene, originally released as LP now with five bonus tracks, recorded at two live houses in Koza in 1975. Folk songs plus a smattering of traditional Okinawan tunes. Includes first recording of Takashi Hirayasu.
