Toru Fukuhara plays fue, the bamboo flute. He studied under the great master Sanzaemon Takara, but has been a great innovator of the instrument, especially adept at playing Western classical pieces and composing his own tunes. On this 2 CD set, he plays both original compositions and three by Bach. He is accompanied by piano, harpsichord and a children's choir.
