Born in 1998 to a Japanese mother and American father, Leo Konno began studying koto aged nine, through music classes at Yokohama International School, under the guidance of American Curt Patterson, long time koto player under the Sawai Koto institute. He won various competitions and awards and released his first album in 2017. This is his third recording, a mini-album of covers including Ryuichi Sakamoto's Thousand Knives and Path of the Wind from Studio Ghibli's My Neighbour Totoro, composed by Joe Hisaishi.
