NTSC Region Code 2, 39 minutes. The Bando School of Dance is one of the major schools of Japanese kabuki dance and Nihon Buyo, founded in 1804 by Kabuki actor Bando Mitsugoro III. There are currently around 4,000 students and more than 800 teachers. This DVD contains rare footage of Mitsugoro Bando VII (1882-1961) called the 'God of Dance', Mistugoro Bando IX and the current Mitsugoro Bando X.
