Jeong Ah-In is still at elementary school, but this is already her third album, of Arirang songs, Arirang being Korea's most famous folk song of which there are thousands of variations of about sixtry versions. The song is believed to be about 600 years old, and was first recorded in 1896. This CD includes that first recorded version, which was an arrangement for overseas students, plus many other versions from down the years. The accompaniment was provided by the instrumental music department of the Gyeonggi Music Research Association and solo janggu by Jeon Byeong-hun.
