First ever 'Best Of' compilation of Hajime Tachibana, including brand new remixes. Best known as guitarist of new wave/electro pop band The Plastics, who released their first record in 1979, and were one of the so called 'Big Three of Techno Pop'. After the band disbanded, Tachibana switched to saxophone and made his solo debut record in 1982 for the Alpha / Yen label, under the direction of Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO fame. Over the following 40 years, Hajime Tachibana has been active not only in music but also in the field of graphic art and design. This album summarizes his career, with Takagi Kan, who has a long history with Tachibana, the general supervisor. The songs were selected by Takagi Kan, Oyamada Keigo (Cornelius), and Tachibana Hajime from the 1980s to the 21st century and features a remix version of the Yen song 'Ma Ticaria' by Oyamada Keigo and Takagi Kan. Mastering by Yoshinori Sunahara, artwork design by Hajime Tachibana. The limited edition comes in a special 17cm single-size paper jacket. The bonus track "Eternal Idol (Cover)" is included only on the limited edition. Kan Takagi happened to come across a performance by an amateur musician from Brazil on YouTube and liked it so much that he decided to include it onthis album.
