Asia's No.1 Performer

Originally released in 1989. Sudirman Arshad (1954-1992) was one of Malaysia's most popular singers. He won the Asian Popular Music Awards competition at London's Royal Albert Hall in 1989, hence the title of this album. He has been called the Elvis of Malaysia, and sung mostly pop songs although did sing some with traditional Malay elements. He even went on to work with Stock, Aitkin & Waterman.
