Compilation album of mainly the younger generation of Amami island musicians such Mizuki Nakamura, Kousuke Atari, Maricamizki, Nami Makioka, and some elder veterans such as Yoshikazu Seisho and Ikue Asazaki. Mostly traditional music, featuring the slapping style of sanshin playing, and the high falsetto vocals. A very good introduction to the island in Japan where traditional music is most revered and practiced by the young generation.
