Collaboration between vocalist Mio Matsuda, particularly known for singing Brazilian and Portuguese songs, as well as the music Uruguay, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru and Cape Verde. Toshi Tsuchitori is known as a free jazz drummer, a player of ancient instruments, and a musician who plays the music of Azenbo Soeda. In 2017 Mio Matsuda was rehearsing Angolan and Brazilian Creole songs, to perform with musicians from Mali, West Africa at the Guju Hachiman festival. Toshi Tsuchitori, responded to these songs playing a Malian instrument, Kamale Ngoni. This turned into a 25 minute improvisational piece that makes up this album.
