One of the two (together with Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble) popular music groups that were established in North Korea in the 1980s by Kim Jong Il. The group takes its name from Mt. Wangjae in Onsong-gun, where Kim Il Sung is said to have fought the Japanese in 1933. Light, poppy electronic tunes.
