Comes with extra footage of Michiyuki Hatsune no Tabi performed in 1970 by Koshijidayu Tsuruzawa and others, 35 minutes.
Michiyuki Hatsune no Tabi (The Hatsune Drum's Journey) is a michiyuki dance, during which Yoshitsune's lover Shizuka-gozen and the magic fox disguised a retainer journey through the cherry blossoms of Mount Yoshino. During Kawatsura Hogen Yakata (The Mansion of Kawatsura Hogen) Yoshitsune is being sheltered by Kawatsura Hogen, a mountain priest. The real identity of Tadanobu is revealed by striking a drum. who is transformed into a fox. He explains the drum is made from the hides of his fox parents and because he yearns to be with his parents again, he disguised himself as Tadanobu. Yoshitsune finally makes a present of the drum to the fox.
