Aska Strings is the string group of acclained violinist Aska Kaneko. Aska plays a variety of styles from classical to avant-garde jazz and world music, and has performed with Coba, Donal Lunny and many others as a member of Asian Fantasy Orchestra. She formed Aska Strings in 1984, with up to thirty members and on this album collaborated with Hugo Fattoruso, composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Uruguay.
